Skip the lines and visit the most famous sites in this classic and popular tour.

Herculaneum is the second most famous city, after Pompeii, destroyed by the Volcano Vesuvius eruption of 79 AD. Covered by ashes and mud its buildings were found perfectly preserved and we will visit them on this amazing half-day tour.

We will start from the ancient beach where we will observe incredible dwellings that have survived many centuries under 30 feet of debris and lava.

First, we will visit the House of the Skeleton, the Thermopolium and the great mosaics of the Public Baths (thermae). Then we will reach the Winemaker Shop, the House of Poseidon and his wife Anfitrite, the Decumanus - Herculaneum main street - the Palestra and the Sacred Area with the most important temples.

We will also stop at the most famous building of Herculanum: the House of the Opus Craticium, a exceptionally preserved house for rent that is one of the symbols of the city and a great example of Roman architecture.

Let me take your hand and jump back to the Ancient Roman Empire when the city of Herculaneum was flourishing at the slopes of the giant Volcano Vesuvius...
